Why Plans Changed
We are so very excited to have the opportunity to not only be married, but to share it with those that we love and cherish most. We believe having you with us in Bermuda will make our marriage not only a declaration of love, but a celebration of those we love.
We were officially married October 5th, 2013 in Luray, Virginia.
There were a few reasons to do this. First, long after we had began our plans in Bermuda, we found there are legal restrictions around who can marry you. It was very important to us that we be married by someone we know and love.
Second, Blair has a big, beautiful immediate family. And there are a lot of children! By moving the first ceremony to the States we were able to involve all of her nieces and nephews during their formative years.
“Weddings are described as the most spectacular part of your married life. Celebrate it in the most thoughtful way, as long as you can, as years go by”

Why Bermuda?
We first visited Bermuda in 2012. We immediately fell in love with the obvious: beautiful beaches, great food, great fun...
But more than that, we fell in love with Bermudians. They have an ease and character about them that you do not find in all parts of the world. Bermudians welcome visitors with open arms and an open heart. We wanted to share that with you as we come together as a family.
